As a Registered Nurse and Childbirth and Parent Educator since 1970,  I have found that most expectant and new parents request similar information. They want to learn about pregnancy, labor and birth, and how to care for their baby.  This interest in childcare and  development continues throughout the parenting years.  Whether it's adding a baby to the family, choosing childcare, being vigilant on safety needs, starting school or the concerns of parenting teens, my goal is to provide information and products to assist you. 

 

As a mother and grandmother, I have had to make those decisions.  Products and styles change, but the basic responsibilities and joys of parenting and grand parenting continue.  Thank goodness!

 

I also teach and mentor childbirth educators, nurses, doulas and others interested in maternal child healthcare and education. Continuing education programs, teaching resources and birth art are included in the section for professionals.
